Donald A. Harding, 89, of New Philadelphia died Sunday, September 15, 2002 at Morning View Care Center following an extended illness.
He retired from General Motors in Detroit after 35 years of service.
Born May 7, 1913 in Cambridge he was a son of the late Homer and Inez Harding.
He was a member of the New Philadelphia Elks and Dover VFW.
Donald was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ellen Harding who died on December 6, 1993.
He is survived by a son: William Harding of Utah
Daughter: June Gotz of Arizona
Two brothers: Wayne (Oveda) Harding of New Philadelphia
Ronald Harding of Ohio
Sister: Delores (Nick) Nigro of Dover
Four grandchildren
He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 16, 2002 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Todd Little officiating. Interment will be at Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home one hour prior to services on Monday.
