Don C. Huff, 85, of Dover, Ohio went to be with the Lord, November 15, 2006 in his home he built in 1948, surrounded by his family.

Don spent his entire working career with one company. His 44 years of experience started with Marsh Lumber Company in the field as a lumber buyer and stacker. He was given a supervision opportunity with the Marsh Wall Tile/Korelock Division, which later became Masonite. His dedication and hard work were boundless, never missing a day. His final years working for the Marsh family were spent as a project engineer and working on such diverse projects as plant set-up and product development. Many of his innovative machines, procedures, and products are still used. He was known in the industry for his knowledgeable and kind supervision.

After his retirement, he used his experience to help his son(TM)s business in Columbus. His production and machinery experience along with his hard work were essential in the success of Columbus Wood Products.

Don was a tireless worker. Satisfaction for him was a good day(TM)s work for a worthwhile cause. In his later years, his projects were focused on his family, friends, and charities. In his home workshop, he made many heirloom gifts. Most of Don(TM)s projects were made with lumber from his trees grown at his Dover home.

His first and foremost goal of life was service to those whom he could help and mentor. He was very active in the community in such organizations as, Tuscarawas YMCA, Soap Box Derby, Dover Tornado Club, Boy Scouts of America, and The Gideons. His service to the Lord was witnessed by his tremendous dedication to the Indian Meadows Church of God where he served as a trustee.

Enthusiasm for sports was shared with the community through volunteering to coach youth baseball and basketball. Don(TM)s love for golf as a senior was boundless, walking the course at Sugarcreek was a favorite pastime.

His green thumb was evident in his Award winning Dahlias. Many flower bouquets were given over the years with love.
