Donna B. Gardner

Donna B. Gardner, 94, of Zoar died at her home on Saturday, February 11, 2017.



Born October 28, 1922 in Green Township, Ross County, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Ray and Myrtle Streevey Creachbaum. Donna was also preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, J. Porter Gardner on June 27, 2014; daughter, Susan Gardner and two brothers.



Donna was a member of Zoar United Church of Christ, Zoar Community Association, Zoar Shade Tree Commission and the Zoar Garden Club. She loved flower gardening, collecting antiques and cooking for her family and friends.



Donna is survived by her son, Tim Gardner of Atlanta and his companion, Virginia Lannon and many nieces and nephews.



Private family graveside services will be held in the Zoar Cemetery. A service celebrating Donna's life will be held on Thursday, February 16 at 11:00 am in the Zoar United Church of Christ with Dr. John States officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover is handling services.
