Doreen May Johns

Doreen May Johns, 91, of Dover passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at Hennis Care Center in Dover.

Born in Dundee on May 26, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Omar E. and Lucille (Jeandervin) Landis. She attended Dundee High School.

On August 26, 1948 she married the love of her life, Edward Johns, who preceded her in death on April 22, 2003. She is also preceded in death by her daughter; Sandra Johns; two brothers, Larry Landis and Nelson Landis; and two sisters, Virginia Landis, and Loaha Schuefler.

Years ago, she worked for Canton Drop Forge and the Dover Buehlers. She enjoyed sewing and long drives in the car.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Randy Johns and his fianc, Perriann McCoy.

A graveside service will be held at Dover Burial Park on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 2:15 pm with Pastor John Dunn officiating. Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Wednesday from 1:00-2:00pm.
