Doris J. Littleton

Doris Littleton, 87, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Union Hospital.

Born in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret (Swonger) Mann.

Doris was a kind, loving, giving, and gentle soul and a caregiver to many. She lived her life without complaint and was a positive light to others regardless of difficulties she faced personally. She was a woman of faith and a charter member of Faith Cathedral Church in New Philadelphia, where she spent her time serving the Lord.

She will be sadly missed by her two sons; Rod (Whitney) Littleton of Uhrichsville, Doug (Evelon) Littleton of Dover; her daughter, Tawnya Nanashe of North Canton; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harry (Skip) Mann and John (Judy) Mann; two sisters, Clara Caddell, and Arlene (Don) White; along with her sister-in-law, Eleanor Mann.

She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Littleton; daughter, Tricia Littleton; two brothers, Howard and Stanley Mann; sister, Hilda Mann; step-mother, Ida Mann; along with her son-in-law, John Nanashe.

Friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 3-6pm. A celebration of Doris’ life will take place on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Russ Rodejev officiating.
