Doris Jean (Korns) Hostetler, 69, of Dover died Wednesday, June 6, 2001 at her home following a long illness.
Born May 10, 1932 in Dover she was a daughter of the late James and Frances Manley Korns. She was a homemaker and devoted mother.
She was a member of First Moravian Church in Dover, and was a 1950 graduate of Dover High School. She spent most of her life residing on the family farm north of Walnut Creek in Holmes County. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing and quilting for her family.
Doris is survived by her husband Lyle D. Hostetler Sr. with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage on March 25, 2001.
She is also survived by her five children: Marsha Verrico of the family farm in Walnut

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2001 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Kenard Parrott officiating. Interment will be at Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
