Doris M. Deibel

Doris M. Deibel, 92, of Strasburg passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in the Inn at University Village, Massillon.

She was born on May 3, 1930 in Canton and was a daughter of the late John and Helena Weaver. Doris was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph G. Deibel on December 16, 2000 and five brothers and sisters.

Doris was a dedicated homemaker who also was a big help to her husband as they ran the family farm. She was a member of LifeWay Church in New Philadelphia, worked in the food pantry and was a member of the Rejoice Women’s Group.

A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, Doris is survived by her daughters, Sheryl (Robert) Stuck of Columbus, Carolyn (Dale) Bender of Freemont, Linda Deibel of Canton; grandchildren, Melissa, Matthew, Meredith, Joseph, Nathan, Kevin, Kristin and six great grandchildren.

A service celebrating Doris’ life will be held on Wednesday, June 29th starting at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg with Rev. Larry Fletcher officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. The family will be greeting friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-7 pm and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
