Dorothy B. Crites, 81, of Dover, died Monday, January 20, 2003 in the Walnut Hills Nursing Home at Walnut Creek.
She retired from Society National Bank of Cleveland (now Key Bank) where she had worked for 24 years.
Born April 12, 1921 in Carrollton, she was daughter of the late Fred E. & Lucinda Hershberger Reed.
A 1939 graduate of Dover High School, Dorothy was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Dover and it�(TM)s Lois Circle.
On November 30, 1940, she married Edward Crites who died on August 31, 1986.
Survivors include: two daughters; Linda K. & David Mathey of Magnolia, Carol & Dominic Anile of Carmel, IN, two sons; William & Edith Crites of Greensburg, PA, Clifford & Patricia Crites of Watkinsville, GA, a brother, Clayton Reed of Walnut Creek, two sisters; Pauline Kaser of Sugarcreek and Arlene Reed of Barnhill, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by: a sister; Thalia Reed, and three brothers; Glen, George and Lester Reed.
A funeral service will be held Friday, January 24 at 11:00am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover. Cremation will follow services and interment of her remains will follow in the Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton. Friends may call in the funeral home on Thursday from 7-9pm and one hour prior to services on Friday.
