Dorothy L. Fulton

Dorothy L. Fulton, 98, formerly of Strasburg, died Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.

Born February 7, 1920 in Bethesda, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Cecil D. and L. Jean Lucas Brooks. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, William “Bill” Fulton on May 11, 1978; brother, Herman Brooks; sisters, Elma Mustard, Betty Rausch Handrich and a nephew.

Dorothy was a 1938 graduate of Bethesda High School and a 50-plus year member of St. John United Church of Christ in Strasburg.

She is survived by three nieces and two nephews of the Westerville/Columbus area; a special niece, Jo Ann (Dan) Yourkoski of North Canton, who were her caregivers; and a special friend, Ethelyn Eichel of New Philadelphia.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 10 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at 232 N Wooster Ave., Strasburg with Rev. Jason Rissler officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
