Dorothy L. Morrison

Dorothy L. Morrison, 78, of Dover passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in the Community Hospice House.

Born March 22, 1938 in Canton she was a daughter of the late William and Gladys Hilson Fishel. Dorothy was also preceded in death by two children, Jeffrey and Tracy Morrison.

She retired as a manager of Pic-Way Shoes in Dover after 25 years of service and was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Dover. Dorothy was a 1957 graduate of Dover High School and was an avid football and marching band supporter. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and quilting.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Kathy (Joe) Hildebrand of Dover, Bill (Shari) Morrison of Sugarcreek, Gary Morrison of Dover; sisters, Rita (Bob) Hensel of Strasburg, Patty Perrault, Sandy (John) Atkinson, Becky (John) Lorenz and brother, Jim (Joan) Fishel all of Dover; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 20 at 2:00 in the Dover Burial Park with Pastor Donald Rice officiating.
