Dorothy L. Snyder

Dorothy L. Snyder, 85, of Dover and formerly of Akron died Monday, July 13, 2015 in the New Dawn Retirement Center at Dover.

Born March 26, 1930 in Morgantown, West Virginia she was a daughter of the late Lester and Maude Wright Sandy. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her husband, W. Harold Snyder on October 14, 2005; five brothers and one sister.

Dorothy retired from Church Insurance Agency in Akron and was a member of the Bailey Road Christian Church in Cuyahoga Falls. She enjoyed working with her hands and loved to paint, knit, crochet and work with pottery.

Dorothy is survived by her step-son, Gregory (Marilyn) Snyder of Canton.
