Dorothy M. Brown, 88, of Dover died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in the Waccamaw Community Hospital at Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
Born August 8, 1926 in Quaker City, Ohio she was a daughter of the late C.T. and Lucille Loveall Phillips.
Dorothy attended West Virginia Wesleyan College where she met the love of her life, Charles S. Brown. They were married on August 9, 1948 and remained together for 59 years until his passing on October 22, 2007. But her greatest love was traveling; she and Charles visited all 50 states in their RV, as well as, spending the winter months in Florida and Myrtle Beach.
A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, Dorothy will be sadly missed by her children, Charles A. (Laurie) Brown of Dover, Carol Fox of New Philadelphia and Sheryl (Paul) Hopkins of Surfside Beach, South Carolina; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
