Dorothy V. Kauffman, 67, of New Philadelphia died August 13, 2005 at the Cleveland Clinic following a sudden illness.
She was employed at CMA in Bolivar and had retired from GTE after 32 years of service.
Born July 28, 1938 in New Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Carrie Kaserman Ault.
Dorothy was a member of First United Church of Christ in New Philadelphia and the Senior Citizens in Roswell. She enjoyed traveling, going to church, listening to gospel and country music and watching musicals at the Little Theatre and the Carousel Dinner Theatre. But her greatest love was helping people especially taking care of her family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Gene “Spank” Kauffman, who died in 1991.
She is survived by two sons; Robert and James Kauffman both of New Philadelphia; two brothers, Harry and Charles Ault both of Mineral City and a sister, Catherine Marlor of Zoarville.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers; John and Robert Ault.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at 11:00 am in the Toland Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at 246 East High Ave. New Philadelphia with Rev. Jeffery Gerber officiating. Interment will be at the Evergreen Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
