Dortha A. Moore

Dortha A. Moore, 77, of Dover, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002 in Mercy Medical Center at Canton.

She had worked for the former Snyder Manufacturing, now known as Zimmer.

Born October 1, 1924 in Lawrence, Twp., she was daughter of the late William Henry & Hattie Tricia Gilbert Burkholder.

Dortha was a longtime member of the Dover Alliance Church where she had been active in the choir and singing in a trio. She enjoyed crocheting and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Dortha was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynette and eight brothers and sisters.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Monday, June 3 at 7:00pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Rev. Richard G. Rose officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
