Douglas A. Yackey

Douglas A. Yackey, 54, of Dover passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 following a brief illness.

Born April 6, 1967 in Dover he was a son of the late Clyde and Theda Bender Yackey. Doug was a 1985 graduate of Strasburg High School and had been employed at Dover Chemical the past 20 years.

A fun loving guy with a great sense of humor, Doug loved his family and especially enjoyed following his children with all of their sporting events. He also liked being outdoors, hunting, fishing and riding roller coasters.

Doug is survived by his wife, Angie Robenstine Yackey; children, Joshua Yackey, Zackery Yackey, Everett Prochilo; and his brother, Jon Yackey of Sugarcreek.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There are no services or calling hours.
