Duane Michael Altier

Duane Michael Altier, 55, of Dover died Sunday, August 12, 2007 at his home.

Born November 6, 1951 in Dover he was a son of the late Paul and Faye Madley Altier.

He was employed at Ohio Cast Products in Canton and in his spare time he enjoyed camping at Atwood Lake.

Duane is survived by a daughter, Trisha Altier and her fiancée, James Graham of Navarre; son, Michael Altier of Dover; brother, Bill (Nancy) Altier of Dover; nieces and nephews, Matt Dessecker, Wendy Dupler, Anthony Dessecker and Billie-Jo Altier; aunt, Connie Finley of Dover.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Paula Ickes.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 10:30 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover on Thursday from 5-7 pm.
