E. Eileen Espenschied

E. Eileen Espenschied, 83, of Dover, Ohio died Thursday, April 6, 2006 in the New Dawn Health Care Center following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer�(TM)s Disease.

Born January 20, 1923 in Kimbolton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Minnie Smith Britton.

Eileen formerly worked for the Day Care Center at the First United Methodist Church in Dover.

She was a member of the Dover Bible Church in Dover and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale W. Espenschied who died January 16, 1993.

She is survived by three sons and a daughter; William D. “Bill” (Sherry) Espenschied of Bolivar, Thomas R. “Tom” (Donna) Espenschied of Titusville, Florida, Richard A. “Rick” (Becky) Espenschied of Strasburg and Nancy Raber of Dover; twelve grandchildren, Erin, Emily, Megan, Ellen, Johanna, Albert, Shannon, Kevin, and Melissa Espenschied and Alexis, Brant, and Christian Raber; and one sister, Marcel Conaway of Toledo.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Britton.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 10, 2006 at 11am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover with Rev. Kenneth Hutchinson officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 4-6 pm.
