Edith Margaret Pritchard

Edith Margaret Pritchard, 77, of Mineral City (New Cumberland), formerly of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, Mar. 11, 2003, in Aultman Hospital, Canton, following a brief illness.

Born Jun. 10, 1925, in Columbus, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Wiley and Verna Olive Keller Geren. Edith attended Central High School, Columbus, and married Lowell F. Pritchard on May 3, 1947. Edith was a homemaker, and was formerly employed by the Higbee Co., Canton. She greatly enjoyed playing bingo at Monroe Mall.

In addition to her husband, Lowell, she is survived by two daughters, Sharon Elyse (Jeffrey) Loucks of Massillon, and Rebecca Kay (Leo) Huitt of Woodland, CA; a son, Robert James “Jim” (Brenda Edith) Cosgrove of Vacaville, CA; grandchildren, Cheryl N. Fetchner, Pennie Lynn Broyles, Michael Allen Loucks, Christopher George Loucks, Tyann May Jeffries, Rose Marie Cutshall and Cory Justin Messerli; great-grandchildren, Trevor J. Fetchner, Drake T. Weist, Amanda Nicole Loucks, Cassidy Taylor Loucks, Nathaniel Michael Loucks and Gavin Christopher Loucks.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Cheryl Pritchard.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Mar. 15, 2003, at 10:30 a.m., in the Lake Drive Fellowship, Mineral City, with Rev. Tim Billiter officiating. There will be a meal in the Fellowship immediately following the service. Visitation will be Friday, Mar. 14, 2003, 7-9 p.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover.
