Edith Parson

Edith Parson, 81, formerly of Strasburg, died Sunday, June 2, 2002 in the Country Lawn Nursing Home at Navarre.

Born August 20, 1920, at Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, she was daughter of the late Edward G. & Mary Katherine Hale Stiver.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl C. Parson who died in 1974.

Survivors include:

Three childrenWilliam C. Parson of Navarre
Helen J. Kane of Massillon
Robert Parson of Beach City
SisterMargaret Mann of Pennsylvania
15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren

In addition to her parents and husband, Edith was preceded in death by a son, Ross, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 8, at 1:30pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Pastor Kenneth E. Yoder officiating. Interment will be in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8pm.
