Edna C. Lab

Edna C. Lab, 81, of Strasburg, Ohio died Monday, October 22, 2007 in the Hennis Care Centre at Bolivar following an extended illness.

She retired in 1990 as an employee of Fluorocarbon Manufacturing Company near Dover where she worked for over twenty eight years.

Born May 28, 1926 in Strasburg, she was the daughter of the late Elwin and Lauretta Aul Smith.

Edna was a member of the St. Joseph�(TM)s Catholic Church in Dover and the former St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Strasburg. She was also a member of the Dover VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori (Rich) Garber of Strasburg and a son, Ron (Marianne) Lab of New Philadelphia; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren;
Bindy (Matt) Lancaster and children, J.D., Cole, and Macy; Talia (Eric) St. Clair and son, Case; Ron Jr. (Tracy) Lab and children, Brittani and Bradley; Nick (Amy) Lab and sons, Lucas and Garrett; Marci (Chris) Moore and sons, Ryan and Drew; and Kassy (Heath) Hurst; two step grandchildren, Mark (Ursula) Rosenberry and daughter, Ava and Matt (Stacey) Rosenberry and daughter, Grace.

Edna was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Lab, a brother, Ed Smith and a sister, Betty Enterline.

A Rite of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 9am in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Bolivar with Fr. Ed Keck officiating. Interment will be in the St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Strasburg on Wednesday (today) from 6-8pm with Christian Wake services at 8pm.
