Edna I. “Popeye” Yenni, 70, of Dover died Saturday, May 25, 2002 at Aultman Hospital following an extended illness.
Born June 30, 1931 in Midvale she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Frances Waltz Haver.
She was a member of Believers Assembly Church in Beach City and enjoyed taking care of her family and grandchildren.
Edna is survived by her husband Donald A. Yenni with whom she would have celebrated 51 years of marriage on December 30, 2002.
She is also survived by a daughter: Sherry (Dave) Rummes of Dundee
Son: Bruce Yenni and his fiancé Bobbi Jackson of Strasburg
Five grandchildren: Chris & Heather Rummes of Dundee
Ashli, Autumn and Ashante Yenni of Dover
Great granddaughter: Skyler Laser of Dundee
Sister: Treva Smith of Tuscarawas
Brother: Arnold (Billie) Rowe of Uhrichsville
Four step sisters and one step brother all of Midvale
Four brothers, granddaughter, a stepbrother and sister, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Wallace Cooper officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Following the interment a reception will be held at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 pm and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
