Edna Jane Bussinger

Pastor Emeritus, Edna Jane Bussinger, 81, of Strasburg, died Monday, August 28, 2000 in her home.

She was an ordained minister of the Foursquare Gospel Church and was active in it for over 60 years.

Born June 12, 1919 at Dover, she was daughter of the late John & Florence Ellsworth Fulk.

Along with her husband, the late Rev. Leroy Bussinger who died on April 4, 1977, she pastored at several Foursquare churches throughout the midwest states, including locally at Carrollton. Most recently she taught Sunday school at Dover Foursquare Gospel Church. She also enjoyed crocheting and working with crafts.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Bobbie Lu, and a brother and sister.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 31, at 11:00am in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. David Wing officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery at Dover. Friends may call in the funeral home on Wednesday form 6-9pm.
