Edna M. Cope Goodman, 96, of Beach City died Sunday, December 7, 2003 at Park Village Health Care Center.
She was a homemaker most of her life, and was also a Housemother for the Massillon School of Nursing for many years.
Born May 21, 1907 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Emma Winger Richardson.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Beach City. In her free time she enjoyed quilting and playing cards, especially with her friends in the WAW and ONO card club.
Edna was preceded in death by her first husband Francis Cope who died February 5, 1972 and her second husband Ralph Goodman who died June 17, 1989.
She is survived by her daughter: Mona Walsh of Massillon
Two grandchildren: Joy (Alan) Green of Texas
Mark (Laurie) Brobst of Bolivar
Two great grandchildren: Natasha Brobst
Shawn Miller
One great great grandchild: Christian Miller
She was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 2:00 pm in the South Lawn Cemetery at Beach City with Rev. Steve Court officiating. There are no calling hours.
