Edward C. Maughan, 84, of Dover, died Thursday, July 6, 2000 in Union Hospital.
He had operated the former Eddie's Auto Service in Dover for 50 years.
Born May 7, 1916 at Chappel, Nebraska, he was son of the late John & Florence Maus Maughan.
Eddie was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was active with the Zoar Road Gun Club, was a life member of the NRA, and had also been a member of both the Dover Moose and Eagles Clubs.
He is survived by his loving companion Evelyn Simpson-Waite

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Harper.
