Edwin A. Keim

Edwin A. Keim, 83 of Dover passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia.

Born on July 3, 1932 in Holmes County he was the son of the late Andrew J. and Emma (Miller) Keim. On November 18, 1967 he married Linda Rose, who survives. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Schlabach.

He worked for the former Wayne Block Company in Wooster for almost 20 years. He retired from the former Jones Construction Company also in Wooster.

Edwin enjoyed gardening, fishing, and cars. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by three children; James Keim of Venice, Florida, Marsha Keim of Dover, Kathryn Keim of Jackson Twp, three grandchildren, Zachary and Kinsey Shepherd both of Dover, Audrey Oliver of Jackson Twp; three brothers, Levi A. Keim of Beach City, Vernon A. (Shirley) Keim of Strasburg, Robert A. (Linda) Keim of Beach City.

In honoring Edwin's wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. There will be no services. To sign an online guestbook, visit the "obituaries & flowers" link on the funeral home's website.
