Edwin C. "Ed" Menges Jr.

Edwin C. "Ed" Menges Jr., 81, of Strasburg passed away at Union Hospital on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.

Ed was born on August 6, 1939 in Dover Township to the late Edwin Sr. and Isa Swinehart Menges. He was also preceded in death by his son, Terry Menges and three sisters.

He retired in 1999 from the Timken Co. in Canton after 30 years of service; was a member of Trinity Gospel Temple in Canton and attended LifeWay Church, New Philadelphia.

Ed is survived by his wife of 63 years, Naomi Stilgenbauer Menges whom he married on February 26, 1957; daughter, Wendy (Bill) Locker of Strasburg; grandchildren, Amber (Mark) Miller, Ashlee (Scott) Baughman, Kelsee (Michael) Cappon, Alex Menges; great grandchildren, Brody, Bryson and Brynlee Baughman; Kenlee and Maycee Cappon and Avi Miller.

Private graveside services will be held. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg is handling arrangements.
