Eileen M. Wilson, 82, of 203 S. James St., Dover, Ohio died Friday, September 12, 2003 at Union Hospital following an extended illness.
She was formerly a receptionist for Dr. Casiano and Dr. Seni.
Born July 6, 1921 in Barnesville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clarence F. and Lydia Bell McGarr Murphy.
Eileen was a member of the Dover First United Methodist Church where she was active in the Lois Circle, founding member of the Glowing Embers and a member of the Handbell Choir. She was also a member of the Lads and Lassies CCL, Bona Mater Club and was previously active in the Dover South School PTA, Dover Band Boosters, and the Girl Scouts and Girl Reserves. She loved music and was a member of the All Girls Band, The Melodears and played the trumpet and piano. She also took pride in decorating, counted cross stitch and knitting.
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Donald Wilson who died on December 14, 1992.
She is survived by two children Memory Wilson of Sidney, Ohio and Murphy (Joyce) Wilson of New Philadelphia; a step grandson Huston Stahl; a special friend Harry Barr of Dublin, Ohio and her faithful companion, her dog, Lexie. She is also survived by many cousins.
Funeral services celebrating Eileen�(TM)s life will be held Tuesday at 11 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover with Pastor Marlene Peterson officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. A reception will follow the service at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday anytime after 2 pm with the family present from 6-8 pm.
