Elaine E. Bellerive Brokaw

Elaine E. Bellerive Brokaw, 62, of Strasburg died suddenly Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at Chester County Hospital at West Chester, Pa.

A dedicated homemaker, Elaine enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren. She had also worked for Handy and Harman at Dover and the former Delphian Inn at New Philadelphia.

Born June 30, 1938 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Norman and Florence Archinal Winkler.

Elaine was preceded in death by her first husband Raymond ''Frenchie'' Bellerive who died in 1991, and is survived by her second husband Lyman Brokaw with whom she celebrated three years of marriage on May 9.

She is also survived by four sons: Gary and Leisha Bellerive of Somerdale
Randy Bellerive and fiancé Terri Meese of New
Philadelphia
Darin Bellerive and fiancé Kirsten Moreland of
Hopedale
Rick Brokaw of the home

Three daughters: Brenda and Mark Dallacheisa of Dover
Jolene and Benjamin Burgess of Wichita, Kansas
Yvonne Bellerive of Wichita, Kansas

Six grandchildren: Matisha, Brett, Megan, Beau, Brock and Cassandra

Two brothers: Wayne and Carolyn Winkler of Bolivar
Donald Winkler of Dover

Two sisters: Marlene and Kenneth Immel of Dover
Jean and Bob Zion of Salem

She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter: Maxi Dallacheisa

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2001 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor Fred Grosse officiating. Cremation will follow the service with interment in Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends can call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Monday from 6-8 pm.
