Eleanor L. Wolf, 90, a longtime Bolivar resident who had spent the last ten years living in the New Dawn Health Care Center at Dover, died peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2004.
A registered nurse by trade, Eleanor was a graduate of the former St. Luke�(TM)s Hospital School of Nursing. She spent 27 years pouring her heart into her work at Aultman Hospital. An even greater display of her love and caring showed when she gave �~round-the-clock care to her then ailing mother for the last nine years of her life.
Born June 21, 1913 at Bolivar, she was daughter of the late Arvine J. & Georgia Leeper Wolf.
She was a member of the Bolivar United Methodist Church. Summed up by her sister, Marjorie M. Johnson of Bolivar who survives, “Eleanor wasn�(TM)t a �~joiner.�(TM) Her enjoyment in life came from doing things for others, and she did that extremely well.”
Although she was never married and had no children of her own, Eleanor is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: two sisters; Amelia Lash and Mary Wolf and two brothers; Arvine J. Wolf, Jr. and George L. Wolf.
A service celebrating Eleanor�(TM)s life will be held Wednesday, February 25, at 11:00 a.m. in the Bolivar United Methodist Church with Dr. Joel Adkins officiating. Interment will be in the Fort Laurens Cemetery at Bolivar. Friends may call on Wednesday, one hour prior to services at the church.
