Elizabeth A. "Libby" Martin

Elizabeth A. “Libby” Martin, 57, of New Philadelphia passed away at her home on Sunday, March 13, 2022. She had stage four lung cancer for the last five years and went into remission. Unfortunately, it came back aggressive and spread through her body.

Libby was born on September 14, 1964, in Dover. She was the daughter of the late Ray N. and Florance J. (McNutt) Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Debra R. Thorton.

Libby would spend her time at home watching Fox 8 News. She loved a good cup of coffee and enjoyed riding horses when she was able.

Libby will be deeply missed by her children; April L. (Steve E. Jr.) Green, Brian K. (Sara L.) Balder, Cory S. (Melissa J.) Balder; five grandchildren, Alexander J. Green, Natasha J. Green, Mason J. Green, Selina M. Balder, Danika L. Balder; great-granddaughter, Scarlett R. Wilson; her sister, Barb J. Alsept; Brother, Patrick N. Martin; along with nine nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her canine companions, Jager and Jack.
