Elizabeth R. "Betsy" Frautschy

Elizabeth R. “Betsy” Frautschy, 77, of Dover died Saturday, November 18, 2017 in the Community Hospice Truman House.

Born April 29, 1940 in New Philadelphia, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Walter and Gertrude Lieser Beitzel. Betsy was also preceded in death by her husband Doyle W. Frautschy on May 30, 2013 and a brother, John Beitzel Love.

Betsy was a long-time homemaker and also worked at Farm Credit Services and Attorney Tom Hisrich’s office. She was a member of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Dennison and Dover. Betsy was a talented pianist, who played at the Foursquare Church in Dover. She and Doyle were active members who enjoyed being Youth Leaders and teaching Sunday school.

She is survived by her children, Douglas (Kyla) Frautschy of Dover, Dawn Frautschy of Colorado, Derek (Stephanie) Frautschy of Kent; grandchildren, Naomi, Nathan, Katelyn, Will, Harlyn, Briar; great granddaughter, Elizabeth Frautschy; brother, Paul (Joy) Beitzel of New Philadelphia, David (Enid) Beitzel of Colorado and sister, Becky (Jim) Hamilton of Alberta.

Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover on Monday, November 27th from 5-7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28th, at 11:00 am in the Dennison Foursquare Church with Pastor Rod Phillips officiating. Immediately following the service, a luncheon will served in the church social hall.
