Elizabeth Reed

Elizabeth Barlock Reed, 91, of Dover, died Saturday, May 17, 2003 in the Morning View Care Center.

Born March 17, 1912 at Bluebell, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Ann Hura Barlock.

Elizabeth was a great lover of God and was a faithful servant through her membership in the Church of the Risen Christ at New Philadelphia. She also cherished the many friends that she made with her participation with the Tuscarawas Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Curtis Reed, who died February 11, 1981.

Elizabeth is survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 22 at 2:30 p.m. in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Pastor Bob Sisson officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park and a reception will follow in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday one hour prior to services.
