Ella Loua Clark

Ella Loua Clark, 91, of Dover, Ohio went peacefully home to the Lord on March 31, 2011, with her family by her side at the Park Village Health Care Center. She lived a full and happy life. Born on June 25, 1919, in Fellows, California, she was the daughter of
the late Olaf Johannes Loua and Pearl Smith Loua of Ventura, California. She was a 1937 graduate of LIFE Bible College in Los Angeles, California. She married the love of her life,
Howard W. Clark. The couple spent 47 years together as ministers in Ohio. Ella's husband preceded her in death on March 7, 1986.

Ella, alongside her husband, pastored Foursquare Churches in Cleveland and Amherst, OH for over 20 years. Then, they became supervisors of the Eastern District Foursquare Churches
for 20 years before their retirement. Ella was an avid cook and seamstress. She loved to entertain guests in their home. Ella and Howard traveled for ministry and for pleasure.

Ella is survived by two older sisters, Emma Carpenter and Mary Bowman, who reside in California. She is survived by three daughters: Johanne (Richard) Finley of Voluntown, CT;
Joyce (David) Wing of Dover, OH, Aimee (Joseph) Jenkins of Santa Fe Springs, CA; Surviving are six grandchildren: Michael (Kathy) Ohler of Mason, OH; Marc (Susan) Ohler of Sudbury, MA;
Lisa Ohler of Lewis Center, OH; Andrew (Missi) Wing of New Philadelphia, OH; Amber (Jason) Klar of Willoughby, OH; Mandee Jenkins (Fiance' Mark Kearney) Newport Beach, CA.
Ella is survived by eight great-grandchildren: Olivia Ohler; Benjamin, William and Luke Ohler; Kelcie, Chloe and Aaron Wing; and Grace Klar. A new great-grandchild is expected in October.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a grandson, Joseph Christian Jenkins.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Dover Foursquare Gospel Church on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11 am. Pastor Ron May, a dear friend of the family, will be officiating.
Following the service, a fellowship luncheon will be held in the Activity Center. Memorial contributions can be made to the Dover Foursquare Church, 302 E. Slingluff Ave., Dover, OH 44622.
Ella's family would like to express their thanks to the Park Village Nursing Center and their staff for their loving care of Ella for the past four years.
