Ellen M. Arbogast, 90, formerly of Stucky Drive, Dover died Thursday, December 11, 2008 in Union Hospital at Dover following an extended illness.
Born January 22, 1918 in Dennison, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Byron S. and Mary M. (Herron) Hall.
Ellen was a member of the Dover Bible Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible and participating in Bible Study Groups. She also loved assembling puzzles and playing cards.
In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard F. Arbogast who died September 28, 1989.
She is survived by three sons
Brad (wife, Dorothy) Arbogast of Dover, Jack (wife, Cindy) Arbogast of Bolivar and Ronald (wife, Carolyn) Arbogast of New Rumley
Seven grandchildren Paul (Raquel) Arbogast, Christopher Arbogast, Kelly (Josh) Gintz, Holly Arbogast, Chad Arbogast, Angela (Derek) Murphy and Jerome (Angela) Cappillo. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 14, 2008 at 1:30pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory at Dover with Pastor Tim Steiner officiating. A reception will follow the service at the Dover Alliance Church Fellowship Hall. Graveside services will be held Monday, Dec. 15, 2008 at 1pm in the Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 6-9pm.
