Elsie B. Pavel, 82, of Dover died Sunday, August 2, 2015 in the Community Hospice House.
Born October 25, 1932 in Dryville, Pennsylvania she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Beulah Bietler Hertzog. Elsie was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Pavel on August 24, 2010; brothers, Gene and Roy Hertzog and a grandson, Jeremy Traylor.
Elsie was a devoted and active member with the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a very artistic woman who loved painting, playing the piano and was proud of the fact that she could speak four different languages fluently.
Elsie is survived by her daughters, Mary Loibl of Dover, Melissa Traylor of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; brothers, Larry (Sue) Hetzog of Columbus, Albert Hertzog of PA; sisters, Grace Hemerley of PA, Mary Leutloff of CA; grandchildren, Rachel Pecora, Evan Loibl, Melanie Traylor-Benoit and her great grandson, Eli Benoit.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 4 (today) starting at 3:00 pm in the Kingdom Hall with Dave Vierheller officiating. Friends can call at the Kingdom Hall one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Following the service, a luncheon will be held in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center.
