Elsie I. Kutcher

Elsie I. Kutcher, 90, of Dover, and formerly of New Philadelphia, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in the Community Hospice Truman House.

Born October 19, 1929 in New Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Goldie Rummel Espenschied. Elsie was also preceded in death by her husband, Ward Kutcher on August 11, 2010; brothers, Earl and Raymond Espenschied; sisters, Mae Smith, Marie Gano, Betty Dorsey, Irene Espenschied, and Doris Rowland.

Elsie retired from Hennis Care Centre as an LPN and had also worked in nursing homes in Florida and Virginia. She was a member of the former Foursquare Gospel Church in Dover; and in her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, bead work and painting.

A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, Elsie is survived by her children, Ernest Kutcher of Dover, Carl (Sherry Lee) Kutcher of Massillon; step sons, Eugene (Peggy) Kutcher of Delroy, Robert (Lillian) Kutcher of West Virginia; siblings, Butch Espenschied of Tennessee, Bob (Monya) Espenschied of Minerva, Maxine Robbinson of New Philadelphia, Helen Stewart of Tennessee, Wanda Dills of Alabama; grandson, Kyle Kutcher and granddaughter, Stephanie Kutcher.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 10 starting at 2:00 pm in the Dover Burial Park with Rev. David Wing officiating. There are no calling hours. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover is handling arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
