Elsie N. Margo

Elsie N. Margo, 94, of Dover and formerly of Strasburg died Wednesday, October 25, 2006.

Born April 1, 1912 in Strasburg she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Nora Lab Snyder.

She was a member of the former St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Strasburg where she was a member of the National Council of Catholic Women. Recently she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover.

Elsie was an avid quilter and a staunch fan of the Cleveland Indians. Earlier she enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband. Elsie was dedicated to her family and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Margo who died on March 26, 1996.

She is survived by a daughter, Maryann (Vincent) Kyle of Dover; six grandchildren, Bruce Kyle of Dublin, Lisa Kyle of Columbus, Blake (Penny) Kyle of Christchurch, New Zealand, Matthew Kyle of Upper Arlington, Theresa (Todd) Perkins of Dublin and Margo (John) Ishmael of Dublin; seven great grandchildren and one brother, Paul (Betty) Snyder of New Philadelphia.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Charles, Russ, Donald, Carl and Warren Dale Snyder and three sisters, Ethel Leighley, Gladys Flickinger and Hanna Jenei.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 10:30 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the St. Aloysius Cemetery at Strasburg. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover on Friday from 4-7 pm.
