Emma L. Ammiller, 84, of Dover died Saturday, September 1, 2001 at Park Village Health Care Center following an extended illness.
She retired in 1979 as an Accountant for the Tuscarawas County Health Department after 9 years of service, and had worked in the office at Superior Dairy for 15 years.
Born August 4, 1917 in Barnhill, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Emanuel and Elizabeth Boggiani Wisintainer.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers.
Emma is survived by her husband Carl E. Ammiller with whom she celebrated 61 years of marriage on January 27, 2001.
She is also survived by a son: Don C. (Wanda) Ammiller of Oregon, Ohio
Daughter: Carol (Dennis) Lang of Newbury, Ohio
Brother: Adrian Wisintainer of Midvale
Three half sisters: Barbara Ann Wisintainer of Dover
Rose Marie (Edward) Saner of Pittsburgh, PA
Patricia (Frank) Buss of New Philadelphia
Half brother: Larry (Evie) Wisintainer of Dover
Two grandchildren: Michelle Ammiller Huss and Matthew Ammiller
One great granddaughter: Megan Huss
She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Reynold and Theodore Wisintainer
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at 10:30 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Cremation will follow the service with burial at Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover on Tuesday from 6-8 pm with Rosary services starting at 7:30.
