Emmett F. "Frank" Roth III

Emmett F. “Frank” Roth III, 60, of Dover passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in the Country Club Retirement Campus following an extended illness.

He was born on March 27, 1963 in Dover and was a son of Emmett F. Roth Jr. of New Philadelphia and the late Sandra K. Smitley Roth.

Frank was a Grinder at Ariel Corp. in Green for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed collecting sports cards, record albums and DVD’s

In addition to his father, Frank is also survived by his brother, Ted (Rebekah) Roth of Dennison; sister, Marlene (Larry) Schupbach of Dover; nephew, Adam Schupbach; nieces, Amanda (James) Graves, Andrea Schupbach (Kyle Gotchal); great nieces, Adelaide, Liesel ; great nephew, Avery; his beloved dog, Dagney; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of Frank’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 17th starting at 5:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with his brother, Ted Roth officiating. Following the service, there will be a funeral dinner in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. The family will be greeting friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.
