Erich R. Handrich

Erich R. Handrich, 29, of Boy Scout Rd. N.E., Dover, Ohio died Sunday, August 19, 2001 at his home.

Erich was an employee of the Gradall Company in New Philadelphia and was also employed at the Wal Mart in New Philadelphia.

Born July 2, 1972 in Dover, he was the son of William and Marsha McNutt Handrich of Dover.

Erich was a 1991 graduate of Tusky Valley High School and the Buckeye Career Center. He enjoyed skiing, hunting, and fishing and was a talented mechanic. He loved music and dancing. He had been in the Alaskan Ski Patrol and also previously worked as a Life Guard in North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, Erich is survived by his son Dakota “Kody” Handrich and a stepdaughter, Ashley Gleaton.

He is also survived by three brothers and one sister Todd (Bev) Handrich, Shawn (Marissa) Handrich, and Alicia Handrich all of Dover, William E. Handrich and his fiancé Debra Theriault of Stone Creek, and his paternal grandmother, Ida Handrich of Dover.

Erich was preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond Handrich and Ed and Florence McNutt.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 24, 2001 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Allen Bergmann officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
