Esther Gasser

Esther Gasser, 94, of the Hennis Care Centre at Dover died Friday, August 6, 1999.

Along with her late husband, Fred L. Gasser who passed away November 12, 1962, she owned and operated the former Gasser Dairy at Dover.

Born January 11, 1905 at Stonecreek, she was a daughter of the late John & Mary Snyder Maurer.

She was a member of the St. John United Church of Christ at Dover.

Surviving are a son, Fred Gasser of Florida, and a daughter, Beatrice Murphy of New Jersey, three grandchildren, Jeff, Cathy and Scottie Ann, and two great grandchildren, Brooks and Brianna.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 10, at 11:00am in Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Rev. Steven Daniels officiating.  Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8pm and one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
