Ethel A. Graybill

Ethel A. Graybill, 69, of Strasburg died Tuesday, March 30, 2004 in the Mercy Medical Center at Canton after a courageous battle with illness.

Born December 17, 1934 at Barnhill, she was the daughter of the late William and Bessie Knight.

Ethel enjoyed playing Bingo and was especially fond of games or activities that required thought such as solving word puzzles and putting together jigsaw puzzles.

She loved the outdoors and always looked forward to family camping outings.

Most of all, Ethel was proud of her family and always treasured the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

On February 19, 1951, Ethel wed James R. Graybill, Sr., who died on April 30, 2001. The two had been married 50 years.

Survivors include: six children, Rev. James Graybill of Stone Creek, John (Elsie) Graybill of Uhrichsville, Jerry (Marilyn) Graybill of Strasburg, William (Joyce) Knight of Mineral City, and Joseph and Jeff Graybill, both of Navarre; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; two sisters, Elda of Mineral City and Eula of Massillon.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ethel was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jeanne Marie and four brothers.

A public graveside service will be held Friday, April 2, at 2:00 p.m. in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg with Ethel�(TM)s son, Rev. James Graybill, officiating.

Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Strasburg on Friday from noon �" 1:45 p.m.
