Ethel G. (Siber) Frey

Ethel G. (Siber) Frey, 81, of Dover died Monday, April 29, 2002.

She was an employee of the former Garver Bros. Store in Strasburg and the Timken Company at Canton.

Born October 27, 1920 in Dover Twp., Tuscarawas County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Erma E. Putt Siber.

Ethel was a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple where she formerly taught Sunday School and Bible School and was a former choir member. She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, and baking. She also loved to read her Bible.

She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn F. Frey Sr. who died June 16, 1995. She is survived by two children; her daughter, Ethel Ellinger of Dover and her son, Glenn (Kimberly) Frey Jr. of Dundee. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Darren and Brittni Frey along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son in law Brad Ellinger, her sister, Edwina Fisher, and her brother, Junior Siber.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastor W. Jay Dolvin officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and Saturday from 10-11 am.
