Ethel “Louise” Grissom, 88, of Dover passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Inn at Northwood.
Born October 25, 1930 in Dallas, Texas she was the daughter of the late James Roy and Ethel Mae Ashburn Stribling. Louise was also preceded in death by her husband, Otha Grissom on May 8, 2010 and a brother, Clifton Stribling.
Louise lived the majority of her adult years in California, where she was raised on a dairy farm in San Diego. California was her favorite place to be, she enjoyed the Pacific Ocean, and visiting national parks. She loved the simple pleasures of life, especially being home with her family, crocheting and cross stich.
A loving mother and grandmother, Louise will be missed by her children, Janet (Larry) Owen of Dover, Kenneth Grissom of Uhrichsville; grandchildren, Lauren Owen of Dover, Heather (Logan) Randles of Granville; great grandchildren, Evyn and Kai Randles.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. There are no services or calling hours. Those wishing to express their fondest memories of Louise may do so by visiting the online obituaries link on the funeral home’s website.
