Ethian S. Hodkinson

Ethian S. Hodkinson, the 2-year-old son of Vivian Luthi and Steven Hodkinson of New Philadelphia died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 following a tragic accident.

Born May 6, 2008 in Dover, Ethian was a fun loving and friendly little boy who loved playing with his trucks, climbing on his dad or just playing in the park. He started to enjoy fishing and went with his dad anytime he could. Ethian also had a sweet tooth, especially for cookies and lollipops.

In addition to his parents, Ethian will be sadly missed by his sisters, Aliyah and Adrianne Hodkinson of New Philadelphia; grandparents, Julie Adams and Ron Blaugh of New Philadelphia, Mike Hodkinson of Florida, Cheryl Luthi of Canal Fulton, Fred and Kathy Luthi of Brewster, Christina and Stevan Kerper of New Philadelphia; great grandparents, Arlene Evans of Florida and Leeland (Lois) Taylor of West Virginia; aunts and uncles, Michelle (Dave) Festi of Dover, David Hodkinson of Cambridge, Crystal (Shane) Elifritz of Delroy, Lynn Adams of Roswell, Angie Hodkinson of Cambridge, Cory Luthi of Brewster, Joe Gump of North Lawrence, Crissy Hanlon of New Philadelphia and numerous cousins.

A celebration of Ethian's life will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor Sue Koenig officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
