Etta L. Grimm

Etta Louise (Reichman) Grimm, age 92, of Dover, Ohio, was born January 31, 1934, in Sharon Valley to Parker and Caroline (Lena) (Grenig) Reichman.

Etta was a member of the First Moravian Church of Dover. She graduated from Tusky Warwick, Class of 1951.

She retired in 1995 from Kleen-Test Products. She also worked at Miller Studio.

She loved to read and work crossword puzzles. She also loved hummingbirds. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thomas "Bones" Grimm, on March 4, 2021; a son, Terry Grimm of Akron; brother, Fred Reichman; and sisters, Ruby, Caroline, Rose, Verna and Grace.

She is survived by a sister, Evelyn Kay Grimm; sons, Thomas and Jeanne Grimm of Minerva and Chad and Mary Grimm of Dover.

Her grandchildren include Dustin Grimm of Akron, Thomas and Andrea Grimm of Carrollton, Olivia and Ben Lambert of East Rochester, and Jay Grimm of Dover.

She was blessed with four great-grandchildren, Briar Tilly and Rush Lambert, and Charlee and Elizabeth Grimm, plus a great-grandson due in January, Thomas Gabriel Grimm.

Funeral services will be held at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 11:00 am, with Pastor Jay Petrella officiating. Friends can call one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place next to Thomas following the service.
