Eugene Such, Jr., 54, of Dover died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at his home.
He was the owner and operator of Gene Such Hauling.
Born December 31, 1957 in Dover he was a son of Opal "Bo" Smitley Such of Dover and the late Eugene Such Sr.
He was a member of Sandy Valley Church of God and was an avid boater. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and two dogs.
In addition to his mother, Gene is also survived by his wife of 28 years, Anita Delauder Such whom he married on February 4, 1984; children, Andrea (Michael) Lancaster of Bolivar, Eugene (Lacey) Such III and Adam Such; sister, Toni (Dean) Patton all of Dover; grandchildren, Andrew Lancaster and Haevyn and Presley Such; niece, Katrina Moore and great nephew, Daylin Moore.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 11:00 am with Pastor Clifford Hughes officiating. Following the service, burial of the ashes will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Friends can call at the funeral home in Dover on Thursday from 6-8 pm.
