Evelyn L. Varansky

Evelyn L. Varansky, age 90 of Sandyville, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022, in Community Hospice’s Truman House at New Philadelphia.

Born April 8, 1932, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Freda Geers Ladrach. Evelyn graduated from Sandyville High School, and, on November 30, 1951, married John Varansky. The couple had six children and shared 51 years of marriage prior to John’s passing on July 24, 2003. Evelyn was a loving homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Bonnie (Charlie) Albright, Vickie ((Tom) Ritchie, John Varansky Jr., Lou Ann Chamberlin and Barb (David) Peters; her eleven grandchildren; her many great-grandchildren; and her sister, Gloria Jean Stiltner.

In addition to her parents, and her husband, John, Evelyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Bowling.

Honoring Evelyn’s wishes, she will be cremated; there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation is in the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover.
