Evelyn M. Niedenthal

Evelyn M. Niedenthal, 92, of Strasburg died Monday, November 10, 2003 at Park Village Health Care Center.

Born July 23, 1911 in Bethlehem Township, Stark County, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Goudy Pingstock.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Strasburg where she sang in the choir for many years. She also was a member of the Busy Bee Quilters and the Altar Guild.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Walter “Lefty” Niedenthal who died on May 7, 1986.

She is survived by four grandchildren, Michael (Susan) Neidenthal of Henderson, Nevada; Jeffrey (Gail) Neidenthal of Cape Coral, Florida; Robert Neidenthal of Strasburg and Matthew (Melanie) Neidenthal of Strasburg.

Nine great grandchildren: Drew, Audrey, Lauren, Terra, Jaclyn, Brandon,
Matthew, Michael and Mitchel

Daughter in law: Betty Neidenthal

She was also preceded in death by a son: Donald W. Neidenthal

Brother: Robert Pingstock

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2003 at 1:00 pm in the First Lutheran Church at Strasburg with Pastor Fred Grosse officiating. Interment will be at Grandview Union Cemetery in Strasburg. Friends can call at the church one hour prior to the services on Thursday. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Strasburg is handling arrangements.
