Evelyn M. Paisley Carlisle

Evelyn M. Paisley Carlisle, 90, of Dover died Sunday, March 18, 2001 at the Hennis Care Centre following an extended illness.

She had worked at Masons Grocery Store at Dover, and then worked at Union Hospital until her retirement.

Born January 8, 1911 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Clark and Sara Kerr Mason.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church at Dover, and was president of the Loyalty Bible Class. She was also the Presiding Judge of the Election Board.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her first husband John N. Paisley Sr. who died on December 9, 1964, and her second husband Francis Carlisle who died on July 31, 1983.

She is survived by a daughter: Sue and Dave Uebel of Dover

Roberta and Micky McMillen of New Philadelphia

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2001 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. David Wing officiating. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery at Dover. Following the interment, a reception will be held at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home on Thursday from 6-8 pm.
